Most of the tools we rely on every day quietly work against us. They lock us in, watch what we do, and can switch us off whenever they like. We think that’s backwards — so we’re building the opposite.

BTCHushBox is a home for Bitcoin-native tools you actually own. No middlemen, no surveillance, no permission required. Everything here runs on open standards — Bitcoin, Lightning, and Nostr — so you never have to trust a platform that can turn you off.

What we’re building

BTCHushBox Remote is the first product out of the workshop: open-source remote access (AGPL-3.0) that you self-host and pay for in sats. It’s a Bitcoin-native alternative to TeamViewer and AnyDesk — except the screen-control code and the payment code are fully public. Don’t trust us; verify us.
