Every Nostr NIP in one place — for the Bitcoiners we met at Prague
We just spent a few days at Bitcoin Prague talking to a lot of Bitcoiners — and one thing kept coming up: everyone’s curious about Nostr, but the jargon trips people up. Top of the list: NIPs.
A NIP is a “Nostr Implementation Possibility” — an open spec that defines how Nostr apps and relays talk to each other. Login, profiles, zaps, relays, encrypted DMs — each one is a NIP. They’re the Lego bricks the whole network is built from.
So many people asked “is there just… one list?” that we built it.
👉 Every Nostr NIP, in one place →
It’s searchable, the deprecated ones are flagged, and the NIPs we actually run here at BTCHushBox are highlighted — NIP-05 verification, NIP-07/46 login, NIP-42 relay auth, NIP-44 encryption, NIP-47 wallet connect, and more.

Was great to meet so many of you at Prague. Onwards. 🧡
